Chaos Unraveled OOC Community

But since coming off hiatus, I've just completely lost my feel for and grasp on Dante. I try and post with her, or get into her head, and there's nothing. And instead of trying to force myself, and at worst end up being OOC or at the very least just stiff and forced - both of which are no fun for anyone - I think it's time I bucked up and let her go.

I hate dropping characters, but when it's time, it's time. I've greatly enjoyed playing Dante here, and greatly enjoyed her relationships and interactions and everything else. But the time had come - and as she isn't currently involved in anything that would suffer from her absence, I'm not going to put it off any longer.

Since I don't kill off characters, she'll just have stumbled through a portal one day or what have you.

(And I will be replacing her, so hell won't be short a member for very long. ;D)

I meant to post about this last week, but it completely slipped my mind!

I've got AIM on my computer now! I can be reached at 'lustful thing'! I tend to always have an away message up, just because I'm up and down from the computer a lot, but it doesn't necessarily mean I'm not there!

I'm really loving exploring Midvalley's softer side with Jazz and some of the Asgard residents, but he hasn't used Sylvia to hurt anyone since he got here, and, well, he is in Niflheim.

The problem is, he's also been pretty mellow since he got here and didn't have to deal with his "bosses" from canon, so probably whoever it is would have to start up with him. Maybe if they seemed like a real threat to him or Jazz... Or just got in his face in a really bad way. If he thought someone was seriously insulting his mother it might get to him though he might try to laugh it off at first.

It definitely doesn't have to be an Asgard person. I'd rather it not be someone he's been more-or-less friendly with, such as Mitch, Sal, Dorian, or Morana (and besides I can't see the latter two picking a fight with him.) I'd also like it to be something that wouldn't get Jazz seriously ticked off at him, as his robot companion is pretty important to him, so maybe Jazz's player can advise me on that.

I don't need for him to seriously hurt someone and they can "win" the fight if you want, as long as you don't mind them having some brief serious pain from the saxophone.

Wow, I cannot keep anything short.

It's just for a couple days - I'm going to Delaware with my crazy-ass mother. I just didn't want to bother anyone with the sudden lack of replies. =)

Hey guys, I'm sorry about my fail over the weekend. I didn't mean to disappear and lag with replying to comments and threads, but I had technical difficulties. Basically, my internet cut out on Saturday, but it wasn't the fault of our computer. Turns out our cable provider, both for internet and TV, had a glitch on their system, so all their customers in our area lost net access and cable channels. It did come back this evening, so I'll be catching up with my replies tonight before bed. 

Again, sorry for any lagging or inconvience this caused. (I've just been jinxed with bad luck this weekend. T_T)

Um yeah. Cell's in a game of hide-and-go-seek right now. I'll have comp access soon, either via laptop, or internet cafe~~. TOTALLY Didn't think to ask how to send it in til now. -_-; SO UM YEAH. Will have net tomorrow, for about half a day. :}

Long story short, my laptop has 220 viruses on it, I'm using a main computer, this main computer is old and it has decided that it no longer wishes to receive or send emails. It's having a down day / week / month. My work-related aol is fine, but the one that receives IJ comment notices is currently not working. This is going to delay my responses, because I have to check to see if people updated the hard way.

If people are having problems with my updating, because I'm sure I'll forget to check a few places (;_;), my IJ is writerofwrongs. Just swing by there and poke me - I'll be checking it frequently - if you need me to remember to update in a journal or a thread. Also, for the people involved with the plot email that I sent out the other night, writerofwrongs is a good place to keep talking to me about those plots.

I'm sorry, guys! D: If I suddenly disappear from character conversations, it's not that I don't care. ♥ EDIT: Email working again! =D

If you're wondering where our lovely Mod is, as she's been quiet lately, not only is she still having computer trouble, but she's also pretty darn sick right now. Called her up the other day, and poor thing sounded awful.

I just thought it was in everyone's best interest to be aware of this. She'll be back as soon as she's healthier. In the meantime, if anyone has any questions or concerns, bring them to me, and I'll talk to her for you or work them out myself.

I just want to apologize because I forgot to add the new characters right away, plus I was working and feeling kind of out of it, to be honest, so I was really late commenting on the new characters' posts. I'm hoping that since one day in the game lasts longer than a day that I wasn't too bad.

Too much to go into detail, but I have some things to take care of. Saturday the 20th to Saturday the 27th. No journals, just threads (BBQ Thread still a go. Would like to continue plans for Beach Thread.).

Assuming the Trial is still on for Friday, Blythe will be gone that week anyway for her mini-reprieve. Sal will be in Emptiness. Dorian will be Dorian.

The hard disk 4 (No effin clue what that means. Dx) seems to have failed as of ... An hour or so ago, if I could hazard a guess. I would throw a pic yalls way but photobucket hates me or my cellphone as of late. Now I dont even have a laptop or computer available period (I cant use the schools, since all journaling sites are blocked, and Im not quite sure if I can find a way around them.) and failure may be imment. Yay.

First, I apologize to anyone who's going to be driven insane by the fact that this isn't in alphabetical order this time. Eh-heh!

Characters not on any of these lists (of which there are several i'm afraid...?) I'll get back to you on later and talk with you, but for now the ones aren't mentioned at all are either rejected, or I never received them. The ones on hold are STILL potentially able to join on Friday, but I need a day or two more to determine stuff via research!

Also, thank you everyone for being so understanding. Truly.

Okay. I hate that I am having to do this because I love being in this community with you guys.

But this semester I am doing a shit ton of work.

--I am teaching a freshman class. (Which requires me to write up lesson plans, read their journals, and many more tasks)
--I am taking 5 classes.
          1)Jewelry: This requires me to put in tons of out of class hours in order to finish my pieces. I am already behind and need to be                           soldering my first piece together.
          2)Rec Workshop: I am a Recreation, Parks, and Tourism major and this class requires us to put on 8 different programs over the  course of the semester. My first one is this Thursday and is a Guitar hero tournament, but it is the bane of my life and I have been working                        non-stop for it. We have to turn in program plans which are usually around 15-20 pages long, not double spaced.
          3)Public Speaking: This is a little easier to understand. I have to research and write up speeches every few weeks. Its annoying.
          4)The other two courses are both Rec courses and both 400 level classes. Which just screams loads of work. And trust me, its been                         killing me.

--I am also in 3 clubs.
       1) A community service club.
       2) Jewelry Guild
       3) Spectrum (Which is the Gay, Lesbian, Straight, Bi, Transexual Alliance type club. They are a bunch of awesome people and I love                     that even though I'm straight, I can join! =D)



Sooooo! As you can see, I am insanely busy with both schoolwork and after school clubs and organizations. Aside from all of the above, I would like to attempt to keep my social life intact as well. I will try my hardest to keep up with what is going on here in CU. Through reading and simply asking Cryss every now and then.

Basically I am saying that I will be on a rather long Hiatus. I might return and post a few things here and there every now and then, but ultimately I have no time this semester and I am sorry for that.

I know not many will miss me, but I do hope to continue playing in CU with all of you! =D

I'm sorry guys, but I need to request that everyone be patient and that two things occur.

One: Every character who has been accepted to join September 16th, please wait until Friday, as the mod needs to finish planning things.

Two: Because of these computer issues the mod is having, please forgive me and allow for the final trial date to be tomorrow! I'll post things as SOON as I get back from class in the afternoon.

All characters who have been accepted into the game will be announced tomorrow as well, as well as their rooming situations. Because of the things going on, when I tried to send out accepted/rejected notes to everyone else's Apps, they didn't go through due to the browser complications, so I'll have to email everyone through another computer soon.

I am finally done with the most hellish moving experience I have ever embarked upon in my life! I'll spare the details here (because they're long and not for the weak of stomach) but I will say this: the previous tenants lived in filth and squalor I didn't realize was livable, and left it all to us.

But the house is now cozy and livable, and while I still have a great many things to unpack, there's plenty of time for that and I've been having RP withdrawals! So I am un-hiatusing!

Unfortunately, I have next to no idea what's been happening in the game while I've been away, so if I could get a quick rundown or a link to a rundown, that would be great. And I'll figure something out for why my characters have been so silent recently.

Anyway....I've missed you guys! *hugs all around*

Woot, tis Clara here, finally home, a little tired, queasy, but otherwise pretty good.

New York was most most awesome! I still don't know why they named it twice, but it matters not. It's fabulous enough to deserve that honour! I will try and get pictures up soon for those who are interested. Most fun indeed seeing shows, shopping and sightseeing, just a bit tiring. 

Anyway, now I am back, my hiatus ends, and I am back in action!~ This means Morana will also be coming back from her little training holiday, and heading back to Asgard. She'll look a little scruffy, but otherwise fine, and have a new grip on her powers, though limited control. Well, I was just wondering if anyone thinks I need filled in on anything, or maybe wants to thread spotting Morana coming back to Asgard and meeting her, feel free to comment here. I missed you all loads!! *glomps CU cast*

And Vic, thanks for the icon, it does remind me of Morana! <3~

I'm experiencing computer problems (again) but i'll be doing my best to take care of it soon, it seems to be...mostly fixed.

As for another note...even while present here, I may be somewhat sporadic in my posts, as some stuff's been going on that's making it hard for me to concentrate a heck of a lot on CU, though i'm certainly watching over it and all! I don't really want to get into what the stuff is, as it involves the personal business of a few of my relatives, but suffice to say during the rest of September, while i'll be here, I might not be available a whole lot (though posting and all I shall do, but somewhat slowly.) I hope to get more and MORE active as the days go by, however. XD

So! If people, knowing that I might be somewhat slow with posts, want to still interact with my characters, that's fine, but I thought i'd let people know? So if anyone wants a relaxed pace thread (possibly about nothing but some pleasant character bonding?), feel free to ask me for sceneage, but who knows.

I'll still be here to do plot stuff and all and I'll have some posts of useful modly information soon, though.

EDIT: Part of the reason i'm slow at the moment though is for calendar stuff for CU and applications. Apps are ALMOST finished as far as accepting/declining goes, so if you haven't gotten yours yet, you should get it soon~! Though you can still send me emails if you're worried, I can understand that.
